Local musician & vinyl aficionado Andy Seal curates our small-but-mightly collection of used records. All the records we sell have been cleaned, tested, freshly sleeved, and are graded right on the label. Since we play records at the store we can also sample the records for you!

We love Purple Lizard Maps! A locally owned outfit based in Centre County, the folks at Purple Lizard create well-researched, beautifully designed, and durable maps for our central Pennsylvania state forests. We will always have in stock the map for our closest state forest, Bald Eagle, home of R.B. Winter State Park.

We sell the work of two local artists, Lauren Wenrich of Northumberland who crafts magnets, pins, and jewelry in celebration of the precious (but often-maligned) critters of the kingdom: spiders, worms, bats, skunks, and moths are featured prominently in Lauren’s Grotesquerie.

Not all incense is created equal. Our Japanese pressed incense from Shoyiedo is rich yet subtle, without being too heady and overwhelming. We open the bookstore every day by offering incense and find it a great practice for centering and pausing for a moment before getting into the busy day ahead. Along with an assortment of “flavors” we also sell incense accessories such as trays and bowls.

Earthlings unite! This is a flag with a beautiful visual message. We try to always have them in stock and could bulk order them for you if you’re in need of 5 or more.

It’s just a dollar! Not only do we keep our dollar carts packed with weird and wonderful treasures that just don’t quite make the cut into the store, we also sell dollar postcards, dollar art prints, dollar stickers (actually 3-for-$1), and handmade dollar buttons. (Let’s just say if you buy 5 dollar items, we’ll throw in one for free.)
